Hello fellas!

This thing needs some updating. Well, here's something I oughta' share with all of you.




Tuesdays with morrie.

It's a book I purchased not long ago, and I tell you, If you don't know where to spend your 15 dollars, well.. here's a great book to read!
It talks about life or to be more detailed, the meaning of life. And, to hook you onto the book, here are some quotations that would definitely get you to read the book.

" Don't let go too soon, but don't hang on too long " ,

now this, hit me real hard. I was in a very failed relationship, and all I could think about is how much I've lost and how much I regret being in that sort of relationship. Yes, I haven't been thinking of letting go. And when I've read this sentence from the book itself, it spoke to me. I don't have to let go too soon, but i shouldn't hang on long neither.

Sometimes, we just make things complicated when everything's just too simple.

" Accept the past, without denying it or discarding it "

I believe in this sentence. It's true. If I asked you, why would you wanna forget your past? most of you would definitely answer, " Oh, it's cuz the past hurts me, it brings back bad memories. " Tell you what, your past, is something that you can never throw away. Even if it hurts, face it, cuz as most sayings states it, " no pain, no gain. " Which basically means, everyone still has to face trials and pain to gain a better tomorrow.

Well, I won't say much. Do purchase the book if you have the money. And to those who wanna read it but don't have the money, I'm willing to lend it. Just please, kindly return it in one piece.

If you don't understand what the video's trying to interpret, Here are the explanations.

Around the first part, Jesus brings a person to life ( that represents us, ) And the person, did whatever Jesus did, interpreting that she was following Jesus' ways and Jesus shows her heaven. After that scene, the boyfriend, snatches her away from Jesus. This was her first distraction.

Then, other distractions came, such as, Money, Fame, and then, Suicide. If you'd actually ponder about it all over again, Doesn't these distractions often occur in our daily lives? Worrying about how much MONEY you'd spend and save today, Worrying about how outcast you'll be without FAME? And when you're distracted with these things, Too often, when you can't think of any solutions to getting away from these things, you turn to SUICIDE.

If you're more alert, all these distractions were standing in a straight line in the video and this tells us that we allow those distractions to pile up and move us far away from God.

I think you guys should get the whole concept by now. I want comment on this video please. (:

MUSIC MINISTRY <3.

This is for us, only. I'll be holding up a session quite soon. And, I don't want it only to be " my " session. I want it created with the music ministry. People, pick a day/date where, everyone can come or when you see me online, tell me when you're available and I'll cater to you as soon as I can.

A gentle reminder to everyone in the music ministry.

Your homework has gone beyond its deadline. You guys are supposed to come together as a ministry to come up with two songs for this Friday's session. Please have it done ASAP.

HELLO PEOPLE OF THE WORLLLLLLLD!

Three cheers to Kat's session! It hit me real hard. Though it was short, It made a big impact on my personal behaviour and to those who didn't make it to the session today, not to worry, there's another session coming up soon. I'll notify you guys.

Agenda for music ministry's upcoming meeting:

• Discussions for a proper jamming sessions.
• Member support
• Bonding sessions
• Ministry-Only Sessions
• Blog maintainance

To get you people started, I'll give a rough summary about what I've mentioned above.

• Discussions for a proper jamming sessions.

We need a fixed day to just jam not only because there are sessions but to live up to what we're called, " The Music Ministry ". So far, the only suggested place is my place (: . Instruments are provided except the drums and to add to this, Jamming sessions will be every Thursday afternoons.

Any better solutions to this? Suggestions are open. (:

• Member support

I just thought that being a family, and a group in a family, we should bond with someone we hardly know within the ministry and The I/Cs will be assigning your buddies by next week. We'll keep you posted.

• Bonding sessions

This takes time and commitment. So, since we can't go out due to our each and individual schedules, We'll just stick with something simple and that is.. Choosing a day where all of us will eat lunch together and just socialize. How about that? Comments?

• Ministry-Only Sessions

Apart from the main sessions, we'll have our own sessions within the ministry to train everyone how to share the word of God. Anyone dares to oppose this? :P Comments.. give me on the meeting itself.

• Blog maintainance

I need volunteers of at least two people from the ministry to update this blog. Cuz, as most of you would know, I'm only online on weekends. So, volunteers?.

That's all. Meeting is next tuesday. Keep me posted if anything.

For those who did not manage to attend the most recent praise and worship meeting. Here's what's needed to do.

We're doing praise and worship on Friday. We need at the most three songs. And at least two songs. If ever possible, please come for jamming on Tuesday. Oliver, if you're reading this, you're needed.. please bring your guitar (: .

Other than that, we need to sort out the hymns picked out of Founder's Day. And, As much as possible, I hope to see more Music ministry members during the meeting. Please make the extra effort to come and to add up to Tuesday's jamming, Before that, we're all having lunch together in school. So, please come as it's also a part of our bonding sessions.

Whoever's not able to come on tuesday or on friday, please inform Andrew or Nana in advance. Preferrably, By Monday. Thanks (:
